Christy Cobb is Assistant Professor of Christianity at University of Denver. The author of Slavery, Gender, Truth, and Power in Luke-Acts and Other Ancient Narratives (2019), Cobb has published articles in Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, Biblical Interpretation, and Journal for Interdisciplinary Biblical Studies. She is also the co-editor for Sex, Violence, and Early Christian Texts recently published by Lexington Books. Cobb’s research interests include Slavery, Luke-Acts, Gender/Sexuality, and Ancient Narratives.
