Educational Design Manager, Wabash Center
Jeney Park-Hearn is Director of Contextual Education and a Lecturer in the School of Theology and Ministry and the Couples and Family Therapy Program at Seattle University. She is also the congregational care pastor at Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church, a Japanese American faith community with a 110+ year history in Seattle. Jeney lives in Renton, Washington where she can practice (not as often as she would like) a favorite pastime, hiking along trails in the mountains or along the coasts of lakes and the Pacific. With an avid interest in fiction, teas, and Asian desserts, she welcomes any suggestions! Her academic and ministry interests are in the area where spiritual formation and psychology meet to enrich the lives of individuals and communities.
Thank you, Jeney, for these powerful and considerate reflections. They are true and hard and I read them grateful for how you’ve been faithful in your teaching. It’s good to read from you.
