Wish I was in your class! Sounds so interesting. In my opinion, though, you left out the best option.: Talk about how the fear and economic loss felt by the general public in Murfreesboro this weekend is only a hint of everyday life for Black and Brown people in the US. Talk about the fear of getting killed, beat and wrongfully arrested by the police is an everyday fear. So is not making money due to economic injustices. It’s one thing to make a stand against a supremist group from out of town for one day. It’s another to work towards dismantling supremist structures and policies, especially those that give us advantages.
