Are not the experiences you described a defintion for ‘education’?
Students transformed is what I believe we hope for, particularly those whose life work is to lead others to transformation. I am also impressed with the sensitivity of you and your TAs to the spirit and energy of the class.
And finally, how deep the beliefs and understandings of what ‘normal’ is that small shifts can discombobulate folk at so many spectrum of the ‘race’ line.
